Abstract

This report is a compilation of 32 technical papers presented at the Second NASA/DOD Control/Structures Interaction Technology Conference, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 17-19 November 1987. The conference was sponsored by the Air Force Wright Aeronautical Laboratories, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio and hosted by the Air Force Academy. The emphasis of the second CSI conference was the marriage of control system design and structural implementation, especially in the areas of system analysis, hardware, and testing and validation techniques. The conference consisted of five sessions on integrated controls and structures: (1) Design, Hardware, and Testing for CSI Technology; (2) Control of Flexible Structures (COFS); (3) Design and Analysis; (4) Hardware; and (5) Testing and Validation.
