Beam Line and Associated Work: Operational Phase 1985-1987

Abstract

This is the final report of the operational phase of the beam line at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory. During this first phase of operation, the multi-undulator insertion device has been operated successfully and applied to a number of research projects. The experimental end station, equipped with a number of modern surface analytical capabilities to be used in conjunction with the synchrotron radiation, was put into full operation. Finally, the construction and installation of the high resolution monochromater were completed. Keywords: Synchrotron radiation; Multi-undulator beam line; Undulators; Particle accelerator components; X rays.
