Subroutine Probdif

Abstract

Given two sets of data, this report describes a technique for determining the probability that the first density is a shifted version of the second density. We assumed nothing about the density and used a nonparametric procedure based on the smallest and largest samples of the combined data set. A computer program was written to calculate the desired probability. Keywords: Distributions, Ordered samples.
