Aerospace Payload Support Systems

Abstract

This report describes engineering support systems developed under Contract No. F19628-81-C-0029 for sounding rocket and shuttle payloads. Contract efforts included the mechanical and electrical design, fabrication, integration, testing and launch support of a variety of payloads and related ground support equipment. Specific work areas included: payload structures, component packaging, deployment and eject mechanisms; diagnostic instrumentation, in- flight sequencing, power systems and control consoles.
