Software Engineering Education Directory

Abstract

The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) is a federally funded research and development center, sponsored by the Department of Defense and operated by Carnegie Mellon University. The mission of the SEI is to serve the public interest by establishing the standard of excellence for the art and practice of software engineering and by accelerating the transition of software technology. This directory has been compiled to provide information that will help students and their advisors make appropriate educational choices. It contains a detailed listing of available software engineering course and software engineering degree programs. In the future editions of this directory, the publishers plan to provide indices and cross tabulations showing a profile of ongoing software engineering education efforts.
