Standard Fire Test Apparatus and Procedure (for Flexible Hose Assemblies). Revision

Abstract

This document describes a method of test intended to determine the fire resistance of flexible hose assemblies under simulated conditions. The test is aimed at producing a typical aircraft powerplant fire, vibration of the type encountered during rough engine operation, and the various flight conditions of fluid flow, pressure, and temperature. Keywords: Test methods; Test fixtures; Hose fittings, Hose couplings.
