Modified Poisson-Boltzmann Equation in the Electric Double Layer Theory for an Electrolyte with Size Asymmetric Ions

Abstract

A study was made of the structural features and thermodynamic aspects of a primitive model electric double layer, that is, a system of charged hard spheres of arbitrary diameters embedded in a dielectric continuum, next to a uniformly charged planar interface.
