Abstract

This grant provided partial support for the Third Conference on the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory which was held at Irvine, California on October 14-17, 1987. There were three symposium topics: Forms of Memory, Regulation of Cortical Function in Memory, and Representations Beyond the Single Cell. There was a total of 24 symposium speakers, 64 poster presentations and over 300 registered participants. The primary purpose of the conference was to review and critique fact and theory derived from recent research concerning each of the topics.
