Computer Model of an Aviation Gas Turbine Test Facility

Abstract

A computer model of an aviation gas turbine test facility was developed and analyzed to compare computer generated tas pressures, temperatures, and velocities to those of an actual, operational test facility. The computer model simulated the Royal Danish Air Force Test Facility at the Skrydstrup Air Force Base, Denmark. The Parabolic, Hyperbolic, or Elliptic Numerical Integration Code Series (PHOENICS) was used. The Computer Model output compared well with actual data obtained from the Denmark test facility. Tabular Data and Figures are presented. Theses.
