Development of the University of Maryland RAMCAD (Reliability and Maintainability Computer-Aided Design) for Electronic Systems.

Abstract

This report covers the system architecture, the human-machine interface, and the engineering analyses routines of the University of Maryland RAMCAD system through Version 3, completed in the summer of 1987. For each of these areas, the background development, including lessons learned in that development, is detailed, the capabilities of Version 3 are outlined, and the future needs, including targeted research tasks, ongoing development and long term goals, are given. Appendices include the major research papers published by the University of Maryland RAMCAD group.
