Environmental Study of Fish Spawning and Nursery Areas in the Saint Clair-Detroit River System

Abstract

This study was conducted to provide baseline environmental data on the abundance and distribution of fish eggs and larvae in the St. Clair-Detroit River System (SCDRS) and to assess potential impacts on fish reproduction that might occur if winter ship passages in the SCDRS increase as a result of lock operations and winter navigation to 31 January + or - 2 weeks.
