Mutagenic Potential of 2-(E)-Hydroxyiminomethyl-3-methyl-1-(1,2,2- trimethylpropyloxymethyl)imidazolium Chloride in the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Test

Abstract

The mutagenic potential of 2-(I)-HYDROXYIMINOMETHYL-3-METHYL-1-(1,2, 2-TRIMETHYLPROPYLOXYMETHYL)IMIDAZOLIUM CHLORIDE was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Test. Tester strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537, and TA1538 were exposed to doses ranging from 5.0 mg/plate to 0. 0016 mg/plate. The test compound was not mutagenic under conditions of this test. Mutagenicity, Genetic toxicology, Ames test, Oximes, Imidazoles, Methylradicals, Chlorides.
