Shock Induced Chemistry: Application and Development of Ultrafast Nonlinear Probes of the Energy Dynamics of Molecules in Solids

Abstract

We have made significant progress in a number of areas which have led to increased understanding of the dynamics of molecules in solids and in the development of new experimental techniques and associated theory for the investigation of solids and gas phase systems. This work will be briefly summarized in this section. A list of publications which have resulted from the research supported by this contract is given following the report.
