MLRP, Multiple Linear Regression Program

Abstract

The Multiple Linear Regression computer program follows the procedures of Statistical Methods in Hydrology (Beard, 1962). Major features of the program are automatic deletion of independent variables (according to importance), combination of variables to form new variables, transformation of variables, tabulation of the residuals from the prediction equation and acceptance of input coefficients... Software Description: The software is written in the Fortran programming language for implementation on IBM-PC and compatible machines using MS/PC DOS 2.1+ operating system. Special features/ requirements: Math coprocessor (8087/80287/80387). Memory requirement is 512 K.
