Abstract

The Multiple Linear Regression computer program follows the procedures of Statistical Methods in Hydrology (Beard, 1962). Major features of the program are automatic deletion of independent variables (according to importance), combination of variables to form new variables, transformation of variables, tabulation of the residuals from the prediction equation and acceptance of input coefficients.
