Microcomputer Applications with PC LAN (Local Area Network) in Battleships.

Abstract

This thesis explores the hardware requirements of a local area network and then constructs a multiuser software library package for Turkish Battleships. The software implementation is designed as an expandable package so that future requirements can be met. The software package consists of three major parts. These are Personnel Evaluations, Combat Information Center and Damage Control. Listings of the programs developed are presented, as well as instructions for their effective use. It is concluded that a PC Local Area Network with the proper library programs is feasible for Turkish Battle Ships computing requirements. Keywords: User manuals, Turkey, Personal computers. (kr)
