Sampling, Testing, and Test Interpretation of Dredged Material Proposed for Unconfined, Open-Water Disposal in Central Puget Sound. Volume 5. Evaluation Procedures Technical Appendix. Phase 1

Abstract

This final environmental impact statement evaluates alternatives considered in identifying preferred sites for disposal of dredged material in Central Puget Sound. Three public multi-user disposal sites (Commencement Bay, Elliott Bay, and Port Gardner) are indentified for use based on a site selection process which considered several alternative sites. Alternative biological effects conditions for site management have been considered and a site condition identified for purposes of dredged material management at the Phase I sites.
