Popular Report: Oral History of the Mississippi River Locks and Dams Numbers 3-10

Abstract

1988 is an anniversary year on the Upper Mississippi; the St. Paul District, Corps of Engineers section of the 9-foot channel turned 50. In recognition of the 9-foot channel's importance to the District office, and history of inland navigation in the area, the Corps of Engineers staff collected documents and commissioned oral history interviews with persons who worked on the project.
