Multiple Use Frequency Standards Survey Report

Abstract

This report is a summary of a survey of Air Force systems to define the details of their needs for precision timing. The survey includes data on program name, function, organization, equipment status, compatability with other systems, precision/accuracy of time required and other parameters related to system timing needs. The report also contains a draft specification for a cesium-beam-based frequency standard for potential widespread use in military systems.
