Abstract
The porgram consisted of papers on the following topics, aging of polymer glasses, hierarchial structure in biocomposites, electrical properties of self-compositing polymer systems, high performance fibers in compression, damage evolution in polymers and composites prior to fracture, fracture mechanics analysis of matrix cracking in composites, interface of thermoplastics on carbon fibers, composite applications and technologies in advanced aircraft, structure-property relationships in liquid crystalline polymers, carbon fibers from vapor phase hydrocarbons, rheology during gelation, and structure and strength of polymer interfaces.
