Abstract

This plan implements the Corps program to prepare emergency plans for all Corps dams. It provides a guide for actions to identify and mitigate or respond to various types of emergencies which, while rare, could occur in the operation of Red lake Dam. Contents: Description of project area; Description of project features; Potentially affected project areas; Potentially affected non- project areas; Potential causes of an emergency; Probable maximum storm; Existing spillway capacity; Affected areas; Identification of needed evacuation planning.
