Investigating the Corrosion Resistance of Small Arms Weapons.

Abstract

The corrosion resistance of small arms has recently been a matter of high level Army interest. The Army corrosion prevention and control (CPC) program is being used to investigate the scope of small arms corrosion and formulate an appropriate course of action. The efforts to date and future directions of the CPC effort to minimize small arms corrosion and associated maintenance are presented in this report.
