Development of Failure Criteria of Rigid Pavement Thickness Requirements for Military Roads and Streets, Elastic Layered Method

Abstract

The current design procedures of rigid pavements for military roads, streets, and open storage areas are reviewed. The two computer programs used in the current and the elastic layered method are described. The development of the procedure using elastic layered method and the discrepancies between the two procedures are presented. Keywords: Failure criteria; Rigid pavement; Roads.
