Conceptual Valve design for the Driver Tube of the Large-Blast, Thermal Simulator

Abstract

The results of a conceptual design study of fast acting throat valves for metering the flow out of the driver tubes of the proposed U.S. LB/TS are reported. The short response times specified make it necessary to adopt a multi-element valve design for development of this wave shaping technique.
