Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Restructuring: An Annotated Bibliography

Abstract

Technical reports, regulations, and program descriptions concerning how to restructure Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) were reviewed. Manpower, personnel, and training issues were dealt with in the literature. Approaches to task analysis that may be helpful in the allocation of tasks to MOS were included in the review. Currently available procedures generally deal with MOS aggregation and restructuring at a macro level. Areas reviewed are in the development stage and have not been used in a MOS restructuring actions.
