Evaluation of Physostigmine Salicylate Using a High Concentration of Liver S-9 Fraction in the Ames Test for Mutagenicity

Abstract

The mutagenic potential of PHYSOSTIGMINE SALICYLATE was assessed in the Ames Test both in the presence and absence of a 10% liver S-9 activation mixture. The test compound was not mutagenic under the conditions of this test. Keywords: Physostigmine salicylate; Ames test; Genetic toxicology; Mutagenicity.
