Water Control Manual: Fullerton Dam, Fullerton Creek, California

Abstract

This manual provides information on Fullerton Dam and the drainage area in which it is located. The dam regulates flood stages flow through east Fullerton Creek. It minimizes flood damage downstream of the structure. Thus, the original purpose of the dam is to protect the town of Fullerton, Placenta, Anaheim and the adjacent highly developed agricultural areas from floods.
