Site Evaluation Studies of the Massachusetts Bay Disposal Site for Ocean Disposal of Dredged Material

Abstract

The ecology of a deepwater (100 meter) dredged material disposal site is described. The physical, chemical, and biological impacts of disposal are analyzed based on historical data and in-situ sampling. A comprehensive management plan is discussed based on these findings.
