New Fabric Development Program

Abstract

This report details an evaluation of potential candidate replacement fabrics for the Navy's 100% texturized polyester Certified Navy Twill (CNT) fabric for use in all L-1 and E-1 summer dress white uniforms and in E-1 dinner dress white and summer khaki uniforms. The Navy Clothing & Textile Research Facility (NCTRF) was directed by the Naval Military Personnel Command (NMPC) to conduct this study.
