Department of Defense: Defense Acquisition Management Data System Purchasing Offices List as of December 20, 1988

Abstract

This manual contains all Department of Defense purchasing offices that may report data into the Defense Acquisition Management Data System (DAMDS) . These purchasing offices are broken down into the five basic DoD reporting components: Army, Navy, Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and Office, Chief of Army Corps of Engineers (OCE). Within reporting component, these purchasing offices are sorted by purchasing office key (POFKY). All data fields are intended to be self-explanatory, with the exception of 'DATEOFF'. A date in this field indicates that the purchasing office is inactive, with the date representing the date of inactivation.
