DLSC (Defense Logistics Services Center) Total Quality Management Plan

Abstract

This document discusses the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) by Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC). It includes TQM concepts, methodology, goals, milestones and a description of ongoing improvement efforts. DLCS has identified three necessary elements to apply the TQM philosophy (1) mission, plans and goals; (2) processes, cost and measures; (3) customers and suppliers. The DLSC TQM approach addressed two distinct quality concerns - continuous process improvement and adherence to regulatory guidance.
