Abstract

The conference papers and state-of-the-art reports have been printed in two volumes which will be issued before the conference. The third volume containing reports, discussions, authors' replies, speeches and special programs, will be issued after the conference. The first volume contains 136 papers, and the second volume contains 100 papers and six state-of-the-art papers. Partial contents of Volume 1 include: Case histories of Geotechnical and Hydrological Management of Solid, Hazardous, and Radioactive Wastes; Case Histories in Geological Engineering and Rock Mechanics; Case Histories of Dams, Embankments, and Slopes; Case Histories of Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics.
