Presentations at the Institute for Defense Analyses Concurrent Engineering Workshops, May-June 1988.

Abstract

The purpose of IDA Document D-572 is to present the unedited viewgraph and handout materials provided by speakers at a series of workshops sponsored by the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) in May and June 1988. The workshops were attended by approximately 100 invitees from government, industry, and academia, and examined issues related to concurrent engineering. The workshops served as important input to IDA Report R-338, The Role of Concurrent Engineering in the Weapons System Acquisition Process.
