Abstract

Work on the interaction of radiation with matter is described. In particular charged particle impact ionization of atoms and molecules is discussed, along with photoabsorption by excited states and ground stat atoms, and atomic ions. Photoionization, Photoabsorption, Ionization, Relativistic effects, Inelastic collisions, Excited states, X-Rays, Inner shells, Ions, Cross sections, Molecular physics.
