Navy Nutrition and Weight Control Guide

Abstract

This guide, when used with the Navy Physical Conditioning Guide will help you develop your command's Health and Physical Readiness Program. Sections One and Two outline a plan for the nutrition/weight control portion of the Level I program and provide materials for the member. Section Three contains calorie and food exchange lists. Section Four contains nutrition reference information to start a file or to offer members interested in a particular topic. Section Five gives Plan of the Day Notes and articles for local Public Affairs. The goal is to promote healthy lifetime eating habits to assist members and their families to make the right food choices at home, at school, and at work. Keywords: Nutrition; Physical fitness.
