Abstract

This is the first volume of a four volume report describing the development of a preliminary prototype version of an Assessment System for Aircraft Noise (ASAN). ASAN is a software system intended to assist members of the United States Air Force environmental planning community to comply with noise-related aspects of the environment impact assessment process required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and other regulations.
