Simulation and Emulation of Dynamic Jamming of the Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE)

Abstract

A Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE) test bed would include a simulator and an emulator. The simulator is based on models closely resembling the operation of the network and is designed for statistical analysis and for understanding the general behavior of the MSE network in the jamming environments. The emulator is designed for network operational tests and is used to emulate the real field test of the MSE network under various jamming attacks. The simulator is based on the appropriate statistics associated with the network, but the emulator is capable of processing the real data. (RRH)
