Clear Creek, Town of Freedom, Cattaraugus County, New York

Abstract

This report documents the results of an investigation to determine the potential flood situation along Clear Creek within the Town of Freedom, New York. THe study area extends along 24,300 feet of Clear Creek from the Cattaraugus-Wyoming County line upstream to the State Route 98 bridge, located 200 feet north of Moore Rd. This identifies the 100-year water surface profile and associated flood plain and floodway for Clear Creek. Keywords: Flooding; Flood control; Drainage.
