Numerical Algorithms for Parallel Computers

Abstract

Throughout the duration of this grant, progress has been made on five fronts: analysis of parallel iterative methods using Fourier analysis techniques, preconditioners for linear systems on parallel architectures, numerical grid generation algorithms for fighter aircraft configurations, parallel domain decomposition algorithms for symmetric eigenvalue problems, and parallel language design issues from an applications point of view.
