Development of a Progressive Failure Model for Strength of Laminated Composite Structure

Abstract

This report briefly describes the background information and current work plan for a multiyear effort to develop a progressive failure model for predicting strength of laminated composite structure under static loads and fractured in the in-plane failure modes. It also highlights the intermediate results obtained in FY89. (aw)
