Abstract

Appendix K comprises two chapters. Chapter I provides detailed backup information on the significant resources described in Chapter 6 - 'Affected Environment' of the EIS/EIR, with the exception of socioeconomic resources-to be found in Appendix H - Socioeconomic (ADA-217-042). Chapter II is the Mitigation Incremental Analysis as required by Corps of Engineers regulations. Further backup information is available in the various other appendices. Of particular interest would be Appendix B - - Hydrology and hydraulics, and Appendix C - - Water quality (both in ADA-217 040). Additional materials pertinent to the EIS/ EIR and this Appendix, such as grain size curves and further details on resources - down to the level of field sheets, may be inspected at the New England Division, Army Corps of Engineers -- Impact Analysis Branch office.
