A Southern Command Military Campaign against Drug Operations

Abstract

The destabilizing criminal and social problems associated with illegal drug trafficking is threatening United States national security. This report describes the threat and what is being done as background for projections of what might have to be done in the future. Indications are that more U.S. military involvement and action will be required. The author analyzes options available to the Commander-in-Chief of US Southern Command (USCINCSO) and recommends an option to be used. Military operations.
