Parallel Algorithms in the Finite Element Approximation of Flow Problems

Abstract

The topics discussed are the numerical simulation of viscous incompressible flows, the numerical approximation of certain control problems, the analysis and application of centroidal Voronoi grids, and a book on finite element methods for viscous incompressible flows. For the sake of brevity, we will not go into great detail in the following discussion; further information concerning these topics can be gained form the appropriate references listed at the end of this section.
