UV Spectrometer System AFGL 801 A HUP

Abstract

Seven (7) spectrometers, covering the ultraviolet and visible spectral regions were designed, built, and tested under this contract. One (1) UV Spectrometer was packaged with a telescope, scan platform and electronics, and flown on Shuttle Mission STS-4. Several other spectrometers were similarly packaged for a subsequent Shuttle experiment. Ground support equipment (GSE) was provided for the units. (aw)
