Fuel Tank Technology

Abstract

The Working Committee for Aircraft Field Tank Technology was establish in the Fall of 1987. The Workshop was held during the 68th SMP meeting at Ottawa, Canada, April 23-28, 1989. The Workshop was divided into three sessions; current experience, sealants, and design and certification. Thirteen papers were presented at the workshop and are contained in these proceedings. The Workshop was very successful in that it provided a forum for the exchange of information in the areas of fuel tank design, repair and test methods.
