Speed Measuring System (Detectoren en Signaalbewerking Voor Het Snelheidsmeetsysteem 4-01)

Abstract

The optical speed measurement system intends to measure the speed of small caliber projectiles with a tolerance of one promille. The detection of a projectile can take place close to the gun as well at larger distances. A projectile with a caliber of 5.5 mm. can be detected at a height of 6.5 m. The measuring system can still be used when the intensity of radiation is 500 lux. In this report a description is given of the optronic detectors and the analog circuits in the central processing unit. Netherlands; Dutch language; Reprints.
