A Second-Order Nonlinear Optical Poly(Organophosphazene)

Abstract

A mixed substituent substituent polyphosphazenes with the structure (NPOCH2CF3) 64% (O(CH2CH2O)3-C6H4-CH=CH-C6H4-NO2) 36%(n) has been synthesized and the second-order nonlinear properties have been investigated. A second harmonic coefficient of d(33) = 5.5 pm/V was obtained. Reprints. (AW)
