Veteran's Readjustment Program (VRP) and Non-VRP Comparison for Recruitment of White Females at the U.S. Army Missile Command, FY 85 - FY 89

Abstract

Presented is the analysis of how well white females fared under the Veteran's Readjustment Program compared to traditional recruitment procedures at the U.S. Army Missile Command. Recruitment data for fiscal (FY) 85 through FY 89, grades 1 through 9 was gathered and mean percentages were developed to determine if significant differences existed in the percentage of white females recruited by the two programs. Veteran's preference programs in Federal employment is discussed.
