Sensitivity and Robustness Analysis for Sea-Skimming Missile
Abstract
This thesis presents the application of EIGENVALUE SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS and SINGULAR VALUE ANALYSIS to the control of a SEA-SKIMMING supersonic missile, in the vertical plane. The study is divided in four basic parts: a) The development of the model; b) EIGENVALUE SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS with respect to the variation of the aerodynamic parameters of the autopilot/airframe of the missile; c) Analysis of the time response with respect to the variation of the aerodynamic parameters; and d) Robustness analysis and improvement of the system, using the SINGULAR VALUE ANALYSIS. Keywords: Sensitivity, Eigenvalues, Robustness, Aerodynamic coefficients, Sea-skimming missile, Optimization, Minimum singular value, Theses.
