The Implications of Using Integrated Software Support Environment for Design of Guidance and Control Systems Software

Abstract

This report summarises the deliberations and conclusions of Working Group 08 of the Guidance and Control Panel of AGARD, the Terms of Reference of which were: (i) To develop and consider a set of requirements for a high level language software support environment from a guidance and control systems viewpoint; (ii) To evaluate the characteristics and capabilities offered by advanced language support environments, either existing or in the course of development, with respect to the requirements defined in (i); (iii) If necessary, to determine the modifications which would have to be contemplated to meet fully the needs expressed in (i); and The Working Group attempted to consider all software design and development technologies which existed or were known to be under development at the time.
